My 2 guys!!

OK so my son just started football this year. I've seriously been dreading this time in his life because my husband was a football player and a very good one at that!! LOL I was afraid that he would put too much pressure on our son to be the best. But honestly, he has done the total opposite. If you know my husband, he hasn't had a really good relationship with our son. He wasn't raised with a father, so he didn't really know how to form that father/son bond. But football has made a huge change in their relationship. I LOVE it!! My son loves is too. He practices with his dad everyday and they "talk" football now. It's way cute. My husband is one of the coaches because he didn't want to leave my son alone. He's so worried that people will treat him wrong. He only wants him or I taking him to practice for the first month until he gets used to it. Isn't that sweet! haha
My son was put into the running back position, but doesn't know if he likes it yet. It's funny because he doesn't really know much about football except through video games, even though his dad is totally obsessed with it. Goes to show you how distant their relationship was huh!! Well I'm happy with the way their relationship is growing. I guess it just took something common between them to spark that bond. Go EAST!!!

That's great they have their "thing" my husband and his dad have their football life together too, still to this day- my father in law has never missed ONE game, no matter where the game is, I bet your hubby will end up like that. 14 years later, he still comes to every game :)
